Vacancy for a Repressive Fire Marshal

A repressive fire marshal differs from other fire marshals in that you are still an active member of a fire brigade. For some customers, this is an absolute requirement. What are we looking for?

In your role of repressive fire marshal, you are responsible for the safety of others. You will also monitor fire-hazardous workplaces and confined spaces where work is being carried out. You check that permits are compliant and are present, and, in order to prevent fire hazards and emergencies, you continuously monitor high-risk activities.

We are looking for professional repressive fire marshals who can work individually and as part of a team. You should have at least the following certificates:

• Rijksdiploma Brandwacht (government-accredited diploma for fire marshal) / Manschap A (Crew Member A) or higher
• BHV (CERT) certificate
• Gasmeten Ex-Ox-Tox (Ex-Ox-Tox gas measurement) certificate
• Gebruik kleine blusmiddelen (Use of small extinguishing devices) certificate
• Onafhankelijke adembescherming (Self-contained breathing apparatus) certificate
• Werken als buitenwacht/mangatwacht (Working as an outside/manhole observer) certificate
• Dutch VCA (VOL) certificate
• Good fluency in Dutch and English
• Driving licence B and your own means of transport

What will you be doing?

If we place you with clients, you will be supervising our clients’ fire safety. You will be monitoring fire risks, safe working conditions, and PPE. You look for solutions, have good communication skills, and you can take the right action in case of an emergency.

We offer full-time positions, i.e. 40 hours a week, but there are also options to work more or fewer hours. This also depends on how much work is being offered.
